[dropcap size=big]T[/dropcap]aking place among the towering spires of medieval India, Raji is a stunning new game with a unique vision. You play as a girl who has been chosen by the Gods to defend against the demon invasion of earth, all while trying to rescue her brother from the demon lord Mahabalasura.
The game draws inspiration from Hindu and Balinese mythology, something not done before in the gaming industry. The stunning backgrounds were all hand painted and based on the medieval construction of Rajasthan, the pinnacle of architecture during the Indian medieval era.
Raji’s powers and abilities change depending on which God you choose to favor you. As you progress in the game you’ll be able wield lightning, earth, fire or ice depending on your choices.
The gameplay transitions between dazzling combat sequences and environmental puzzles that give the player a breather between battles.
Produced by indie game developer Nodding Head Games, Raji has already received a 95% vote from the Square Enix collective.
