Gold-plated connector cables carry that signal to the neck module, which transfers the thermal energy along the back of the neck. Wearers can choose between three cooling modes and three heating modes, which range from 50°F - 108°F. The curved design of the neck module ensures maximum skin contact and helps radiate the temperature to the user’s body. As blood circulates, the cold or heat generated by the Gemm is spread throughout the rest of the body. The device uses a rechargeable battery good for up to 7.5 hours of cooling or heating.
