[dropcap size=big]T[/dropcap]he Arrow Smartwatch stands out from other wearables in a big way. Not only does it make use of call notifications, fitness tracking and other perks of the Android Wear OS, it has a built in 5mp camera that rotates around the face of the watch. This lets you take photos and video from your wrist James Bond style, or snap some novel selfies without awkwardly angling your wrist in the right direction.
Founders George and Dan realized the wearable market was becoming saturated with devices that focused on fitness tracking and notifications and saw the need for a multimedia focused smartwatch. What makes the arrow unique is that photos and videos are stored on the watch and can be edited and shared to social media without needing to pull out your phone.
An integrated accelerometer, pedometer and GPS offer all the other cool features you’d expect from a wearable device like tracking your steps, speed, distance, calories and even see turn-by-turn navigation.
The Arrow can sync through bluetooth to your smartphone to receive real-time notifications with the ability to respond by voice or touch, and can also backup your photos to your phone to save space.
With current plans to ship out February 2018, the Arrow Smartwatch can be pre-ordered with a silicone band for $149 at their Indiegogo page, or you can splurge and get the leather banded version for $169.
