Sylvox Deck Pro is a Smart TV Built for the Outdoors

For nearly 100 years TVs have had a way of keeping us stuck indoors, spellbound by their omnipresent glow. To bring a TV outside spelled it’s imminent doom as the elements conspired to break it down from the inside out.

That meant warm spring afternoons and long summer nights were a foreign concept to the avid TV viewer, who required controlled lighting to justify an ever increasing picture quality. As the number of pixels grew, so too did the glare, meaning a single sunny window could ruin a glorious 4k image.

But what if there was a way to keep enjoying your favorite shows while also taking part in the great outdoors? In our view, that’s what makes the Sylvox Deck Pro smart TV so cool. It’s a crisp, 55″ QLED television with a weatherproof design built to work outside.

Where other TVs dare not tread

So how did the people at Sylvox create a display that can withstand the heat, moisture and dust that would cripple other TVs?

To conquer punishing summer temperatures, the display has an advanced heat dissipation system that can withstand up to 122°F. Overcoming glare and sunlight is another issue that Sylvox has tackled with a 700 nits display which is roughly 3x brighter than standard indoor televisions.

The TV isn’t afraid of a little water, either. The Deck Pro QLED is certified as IP55 and can withstand regular encounters with rain and dust. Drizzly days and poolside movies are no problem.

Sylvox Deck Pro specs

The Deck Pro QLED also has the usual set of apps and features you’d expect from a smart TV. Web OS is installed as standard and includes popular streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, among other options.

Sylvox also bundled the TV with a voice remote that works with both the built-in OS as well as Amazon Alexa.
